The role of Service Support Technician is a key role within the team ensuring we recover, store and administrate high value and low stock items from returned machines to minimise spares, spend and maximise customer satisfaction. The role is to also carry out Data Removal from returned machines unable to be processed in the field and produce required documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Removal of high value parts from returned devices
  • Stocking and administration of parts removed
  • Dealing with engineer field requests for recovered parts
  • Maintenance of stock records on IT system for parts and consumables fitted
  • Complete data removal services on returned equipment and produce documentation
  • Assist with PDI as required

KEY MEASUREMENTS:

  • Value of parts issued
  • Measurement of order to despatch time

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision
  • Field service engineer experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Ability to work within deadlines
