Order Fulfilment Team Leader (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £28,000

Start Date: 1st November 2026 - End Date: 26th January 2028

 As Order Fulfilment Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of fulfilling sales orders for hardware and associated items, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. A key element of the role is managing the logistics and co-ordinating resource required for installation. This role involves leading a team, coordinating with various departments and third parties whilst continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To lead and process Installations & Logistics activities.
  • Take ownership from receipt through to completion of sales order/requests for hardware and associated items
  • Plan and co-ordinate install and collection transport resource effectively and economically to optimise customer service, utilising and liaising with 3 parties
  • Ensure install planning is completed and communicated to customers internal and external contacts.
  • Ensure transport tasking is fully effective, clearly communicating tasks, working within vehicle payloads, and ensuring non-conformances (failed responses, damaged machines, etc) are followed up.
  • Maximise forward planning and communication to ensure all agencies are fully informed and able to plan their activities; Customers and all installation stakeholders (Sales, Service, RSM’s, Workshop, etc).
  • Ensure all installation and collection elements are included in arrangements; data removal, papercut, card readers.
  • Ensure all invoicing and credits are raised in a timely manner.
  • Minimise manual handling risks by early identification of more complex installs, and use of third-party specialists.
  • Manage external relationships with 3 parties, co-ordinating meetings and communications where necessary
  • Regular team meetings to ensure workload is distributed and completed within the agreed time frame.
  • Comply with Health & Safety requirements
  • Assist with month-end and year-end requirements.
  • Covering and supporting absence and high periods of work within the department as and when required.

    Process & Reporting:
    • Ensure all key processes are documented and reviewed regularly to ensure work is being completed to a high standard and efficiently.
    • Contribute to automating and improving processes.
    • Provide monthly reporting on key areas and agreed metrics to agreed timeframes.
    • Take part in, and work within the team, to ensure that housekeeping is maintained to the ASL standards set.

  • Customer communication acknowledged within 24 hours.
  • Customer feedback – external customers and engineer teams.
  • On time delivery and collection of equipment.
  • Return of third-party equipment within targets.
  • Timely invoicing.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Numerate with a knowledge of finance company processes preferred.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
