Environmental
Our commitment to environmental sustainability is a core part of our approach to ESG. We focus on minimising our ecological footprint by adopting innovative, eco-friendly practices that reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote renewable energy use. ASL has established an ESG Steering Group and achieved accreditation for our Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).
Social
ASL recognises that the Company and its employees have a significant role to play in the communities within which we work and live. Employees can contribute by volunteering, offering their skills and time to organisations that will benefit.


Governance
Governance is a crucial aspect of ESG, as it provides a framework for assessing leadership practices and policies, whilst ensuring the business manages and acts responsibly, ethically, and sustainably. Governance evaluates the effectiveness of the leadership teams with policies, procedures, and controls in place to enable best practice and decision making, in addition to demonstrating transparency for stakeholders. Robust controls, transparency, accountability, and ethical behaviour, allow ASL to operate successfully for the benefit of the stakeholders, employees, customers and wider society.
