Warehouse Operative Apprentice
Salary: £15,600 per year
The Warehouse Operative Apprentice will support warehouse operations by receiving deliveries, processing stock, maintaining accurate records and helping to ensure a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
The role provides hands-on experience while completing the Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse:

Receive and book in deliveries accurately and efficiently.

Process returned machines, including taking status pages and inspecting for damage.

Move, store and locate stock safely within the warehouse.

Transfer stock between warehouse locations and update records as required.

Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse systems and documentation.

Assist with stock checks and report any discrepancies.

Support loading and unloading activities where trained and authorised.

Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment at all times.

Report hazards, damaged stock, incidents or concerns to the appropriate person.

Work closely with colleagues to support the smooth running of warehouse operations.

Provide cover and assistance to other team members when required.

Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
Apprenticeship:

Attend all required apprenticeship training sessions, reviews and assessments.

Work towards achieving all apprenticeship milestones, targets and objectives within agreed timescales.

Complete and maintain any required apprenticeship work, off the job time log, records, evidence or portfolio documentation.

Apply learning from the apprenticeship into day-to-day work activities.

Attend regular progress reviews with the training provider, line manager and any other relevant parties.

Prepare for end-point assessment, including the interview, portfolio of evidence and workplace observation.

Raise any concerns about workload, training, progress or support needs promptly.

KEY MEASUREMENTS
- Accuracy of receiving, despatch and stock levels.
- Safe and tidy working environment.
- Completion of apprenticeship.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Attention to detail and able to maintain accuracy.
- Good team player.
- Candidates must be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the role.
