Carbon Reduction Plan

Our commitment

ASL is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2030.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions.
Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Emissions reduction targets

ASL has achieved a 74683Kg reduction in CO2. The move to renewable energy and the consolidation of sites, reduced our Scope 2 emissions by a significant 83%. By updating the majority of our fleet to electric vehicles, this has further reduced our Scope 2 emissions and is expected to fall as we continue to replace our fleet.

Progress against these targets can be seen in the graph below:

ASL Carbon Reduction Plan 2024 - Signed

In order to progress to achieving Net Zero, we continue to adopt carbon reduction targets and project that our carbon emissions will continue to decrease to 160 tCO2e by 2028.
