Epson new factory

Earlier this month, Epson announced their plans to construct a new factory at Akita Epson to manufacture inkjet printheads. The construction of the new factory will begin in November 2022 and the anticipated completion date is in December 2023.

The huge investment of the factory is to increase the production capacity of printheads for inkjet printers. The construction plan will ensure that Epson has enough production space to meet its predicted future growth in demand. It will enable Epson to expand printhead sales and strengthen its product lineup.
