ASL work in partnership with Epson and will be attending the NEUPC procurement in practice event. The North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) is a Higher Education purchasing consortia, designed to maximise third-party expenditure within the higher education sector.

The procurement in practice, as well as future events are open to all members and invited guests. Bringing like-minded people under one roof to network and learn, while providing an opportunity to meet with new framework suppliers that they can collaborate with on future projects.

At ASL we have worked in partnership with the education sector for many years, amassing a wealth of experience and understanding of the print-related needs of schools, colleges and universities. We have used this experience to develop print and document management solutions that are designed to meet the needs of educators.

Epson Platinum Partner 2022

As the first platinum partner in the UK, Epson asked us to attend the event to help spread the awareness of Heat Free Technology. Laser and inkjet printers may look the same on the outside. But it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Epson’s Heat-Free Technology does not require heat in the ink ejection process and as a result, is much kinder on the Environment and your budget.

Epson is at the forefront of eco-responsible printing shaping the future with heat free technology. It is extraordinary how big of a difference you can make by switching…

  • Epson Printers produce up to 94% less waste compared with laser
  • The Inkjets use up to 83% less energy compared with laser
  • A pack of 4 colour ink cartridges is equivalent to 41 toners
  • They have fewer components, reducing the environmental burden of manufacturing and recycling, up to 92% less CO2 emission produced compared with laser

Changing a large fleet of laser devices to Epson inkjet can mean £1000’s in energy and service costs.

At the procurement in practice event, we will have a live demonstration of Laser VS inkjet so you can see for yourself how you can reduce your environmental footprint and reduce costs.
